From humble beginnings to transforming thousands of lives across Nepal's Himalayan region.
Founded in 2010, Himalayan Hope was born from a simple observation: too many children in Nepal's remote regions were being denied their basic right to education due to poverty and geographical challenges.
Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty through education and community empowerment. We envision a Nepal where every child, regardless of their background, has access to quality education and the opportunity to fulfill their potential.
Founded Himalayan Hope with a single classroom in a remote village of Dolakha district.
Expanded to three villages after the successful pilot program showed significant improvement in children's literacy rates.
Launched our first vocational training center for women, helping 50 families achieve economic independence.
Received the National Education Award from the Government of Nepal for outstanding contribution to rural education.
Now operating in 12 villages with 18 schools, impacting over 5,000 community members annually.
Passionate individuals working tirelessly to create lasting change in Nepal's Himalayan communities.
